Fluvius GmbH is a technical wholesale and foreign trade company and system partner for products for trenchless sewer rehabilitation in the house connection sector. Fluvius was founded in 2007 and is currently celebrating its 15th anniversary. A total of around 30 employees work in 3 companies. These are Fluvius and KiCam in Germany and Fluxus in Sweden.
The total annual turnover is approx. 20 million euros. The main turnover is realized in Germany and Sweden. The main markets outside Europe are in the USA and Australia.
The Fluvius unique selling point?
We differ from our competitors in that we not only supply goods, but also train and support our customers on construction sites. We have a great deal of know-how. Our engineers have helped to develop the products and can help on site if there are complicated requirements. A large stock of all important consumables supports our customers in sewer cleaning and sewer rehabilitation with the fastest availability.

What topics did you want to digitize with the software you were looking for?
We were looking for ways to improve project organization, communication, complaint processing, quotation preparation, construction site support – we wanted to improve the flow of communication between office and field staff and optimize processes in all areas. The data on stock, purchasing, sales and customers needed to be networked.
Which processes were mapped with humbee?
Field and office service interface, automation, complaints process, customer acquisition and networking, training processes and organization.
How did the software implementation at Fluvius go?
It all went very quickly and in some areas it “clicked” immediately, e.g. visit reports were created directly with humbee. That worked well straight away. The great potential that humbee offers still needs to be fully exploited step by step.
In order to optimize this change process, we opted for the professional moderation and support of process consultant Stefanie Jung from ETC Unternehmensberatung. She created a clearly structured framework in which our team was directly involved. In my view, this makes sense, as the team knows the work processes best and knows how to simplify them.
Many practicable ideas and suggestions for improvement have come from the employees. The initial reservations were overcome and humbee is now being used with pleasure.
What is the result of this digitalization?
The flow of information between employees and communication with customers is now available in a bundled form. Employees can see exactly what was discussed. Everything is no longer just in the head of the sales representative – people who are involved in the same process can now access their knowledge.
Our processes run more smoothly and results are achieved more quickly. The flow of information gives us more speed and the feeling that everything has been simplified.
